In the wonderful spirit of her book THE WOMAN YOU WERE BORN TO BE, Martha Trowbridge devotes her intellect and energy to helping women who suffer from depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, complicated grief, and other mental and emotional agonies. Many of these women have been victims of developmental and/or relational violence, abuse or neglect. With a focus upon healing and rebirthing a woman's sacred Spirit, her Inspiration For Women In Crisis includes columns, articles, interviews, and MARTHA TROWBRIDGE RADIO.
One such group of women is wives who are married to what she terms THE CRAZY-MAKING HUSBAND.
Since publication of her illustrated humor book, THE CRAZY-MAKING HUSBAND: His Rules And Rationalizations, Refreshingly Refuted By Reality she has been busy writing about the serious side of life with The Crazy-Making Husband: his chronic emotional and psychological abuse -- which eventuates into Spirit, mind and body deterioration in his wife.
Her book, blogs, columns, and articles on THE CRAZY-MAKING HUSBAND are now enhanced by THE CRAZY-MAKING HUSBAND Radio Show at MARTHA TROWBRIDGE RADIO. Offering validation, inspiration and expert advice, Guest Experts across many disciplines join Martha in her mission of mentoring wives ensnared in their husbands' crazy making.
From March 2007 through February 2008 Martha appeared regularly with Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein on "Happiness For Women Only", a weekly e-radio show aired at Internet Voices Radio.
Martha's professional affiliations include ASCAP [The American Society Of Composers, Authors and Publishers], eWomenPublishingNetwork, IBPA, and Harvardwood.
A 1975 graduate of Radcliffe College with an A.B. in The Classics, Martha studied creative writing at the graduate level at Radcliffe Seminars and Emerson College. Since 1985 she has studied psychology extensively, and has had the good fortune to study directly with several of psychology's leading thinkers.
